The Year of Living Biblically

Currently reading this and highly recommend it. A very funny, non-religious take on literalism, but also a respectful and quite moving engagement with the 'good' book. Particularly funny as the author has mild OCD and finds this quite compatible with a lot of orthodox religious observence - repetition, ritual and clean/unclean etc.
