links from tonight

Hi all, here is access to the stuff we chatted about tonight. look forward to developing connections in future... let's keep talking about it!

The Amos Trust website - what it says on the tin; newly tarted up and with quite a lot of info about who they are and what they do. I can confirm it is all groovy - as you will know, the chalky seal of approval is deadly hard to win. Ooh, lucky them. As I said their yearly 'day' is on Sept 8th so it would be great if a few people came along with me to get more of a flavour - and it would be good to get more people doing the Amos fundraiser bike ride (or a bit of it)!! Go team. Etc.

Mordechai Vanunu -
The Wiki page about him
The Amnesty page
The (slightly crap) bbc report
(put the BBC thing in because there are links on the right to 'old' news if you want to get an idea of how things have been reported).

So - it looks like he can appeal in september - for the moment, a space to watch but we will get on it if there is anything to be done in the meantime.

Thanks for being so up for things everyone... this inspires me greatly! Now I just hope all my links work...
